Yeah, it's a gecko (AH HA. GET IT?!) who stars in about a third of their advertisements; that's maybe three hundred, or so. They've got at least a dozen series of commercials, with maybe a sixty different ads each. And they air these on every station, for every timeslot. Some are entertaining, but some just don't make sense (a "taste test" in which passersby routinely prefer one cup, representing Geico, over another. This apparently proves that Geico can save you money).
Well, at least they put effort into having lots of different ads so you don't get bored with just one playing continuously I guess. Honestly, who could say that they wouldn't go with the insurance that tastes better when imbibed from a cup?
Yeah... I was just at a house with a 3D TV, which received a specific 3D-only channel. All the commercials were by them, about them, and they numbered a grand total of four. We watched the exact same ads every break in a different order. Even in 3D, you can only spend so much time watching surfers fall over (in an extreme manner).
Of course, the blind cup test is the best way to choose your auto insurance. You'll want one with predominantly earthy undertones, with a lighter aroma of evening moss. A softly soapy atmosphere that intermingles delicately with the thin but sharp currents of brick dust, lacing the time-worn flavors of dog hair and linoleum.
Right-o, my next "wtf why are you doing this for so long?" stream should be in approximately 2 weeks on the 8th or maybe the 7th. Might do shorter streams in between now and then though which I'll just mention in the BADG.
